Some of the best Shen jian bao I've ever had. Everything is always fresh and the chicken was ultra crispy. The sauce was sweet and salty with a little kick. Definitely more on the heavy side for a meal and about $35 for just these two things but worth it when your craving it!

    1) dry fried chicken 10/10 -- one of the best I've had. 2) eggplant w/ shrimp and chicken 8/10 3) Shanghai noodles 8/10 -- noodles were cut to small pieces. 4) green onion pancake 9/10 -- not the flimsy type. Crispy, thick, and tasty! 5) pan fried Shanghai dumpling 9/10 -- fried to perfection and not greasy. One attentive waitress to tend to patrons of this small restaurant. Ambiance is of an old school, hole in the wall, Chinese restaurant. Just come for the food. Restroom is a single bathroom for which you have to walk to the kitchen and up the stairs to.

Came here a few weeks ago and unfortunately it did not end up meeting my expectations. I should have taken it at as a sign that this place was empty on a Friday night but we went anyway. Their soup dumpling are just alright, the skin is a bit thick. Also their clay pot rice with veggies and salted pork is pretty plain. The highlights though are their rice cakes and wontons in chili oil. The wontons in chili oil were our table's favorite given the chili oil was also accompanied by a delicious sesame sauce. This place wasn't bad but also wasn't great.

I came for the dry fry wings and the fat dumplings and they did not disappoint! We ordered over the phone because they were closing soon and the order took a little bit to fill but wasn't too long at all. I loved everything about this meal. Juicy and flavorful dumplings with lots of filling. The chicken wings were moist and flavorful with nice crisp skin. The sauce had some spice to it but not too much that a person who doesn't like spicy food couldn't eat it. I like that the wing sauce was a bit thinner so it coated the whole wing well. Highly recommend this place!
